Something Something KNEES

For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, I play Skyrim. As a lover of my Scandinavian heritage and all the wonderful things associated with it, including the history, the mythology and folklore, and the pure vikingness, Skyrim holds a place in my heart that almost no other video game ever has. It's not just a video game to me; it's an interactive saga. My ancestors believed in semblances of many of the creatures that roam this land, and included them in their stories. I get to live in the fantasy land they imagined for a few hours every week.
Despite the many hangups of the game, it cannot be denied that Bethesda knows how to pull the player in and make their worlds matter to us.  Even though after just a few hours into the game the dialogue with many NPCs is repetitive and tiresome, these people have depth and their lives and personalities are interesting.  The landscape is vast and fully interactive and beautiful.  Mythical creatures bound through the forest and bestow upon you quests of utmost import.  Extinct behemoths stride across the tundra and trample you flat if you get too close to admire their majesty.  The enticement goes on.

Within these posts, you'll find musings and reflections on the land of Skyrim. Some will involve original art. Some will involve humor. Some will be involve nothing but rage. Pure rage. Unadulterated and broiling.  We all know about the bugs.  The bugs are seemingly endless, but most are harmless and even make the game more enjoyable.  Expect to view findings of many of the ones I have witnessed.  I don't expect that it will involve too many spoilers, but if one pops up I'll be sure to add a warning.

The layout and look of this blog will also change frequently until I figure out what I want.  As always, leave feedback!  I loves me some feedback.  On everything.  Make suggestions and tell me what you'd like to see in the future.

Now let's cross the border into the homeland of my people and raise some Hel.

AWWWWW YEAHHHHHHH!!

*This lifelong dream of mine is only possible through the use of a mod. An extremely extensive mod I highly recommend created by Tytanis over at Skyrim Nexus.  Please give it support.
